I am Kristijonas Kaikaris (Kris).
One of my favorite activities is traveling. I love dreaming about, planning, and experiencing them. However, I'm not a travel blogger, so I would describe this journal of my journey through Northern Vietnam as a coincidence, or more precisely – serendipity. Why? Because in 2011, my wife Vilma, daughter Ieva, and son Jonas Bernardas and I spent three winter months living in Thailand and Vietnam. We kept a diary about our experiences there, which we shared with our family and friends. If you have ever considered escaping to Asia during the winter with young children (JB was only 1.5 years old at the time), you might find our diary interesting.
